Handling the glove…practice opening their glove and shutting it. How to catch with a glove…glove positions for fly balls

Catching grounders…how to get behind the ball and scoop up and throw

Understand that catching a ball in the air is an automatic OUT. i.e. pop-ups, fly balls, foul balls

Infield bat skills…understand where to throw the ball, how to tag, keeping a foot on the base when a ball is thrown to them, practice watching where the runner goes and where to throw

Outfield playing ball skills…where to throw the ball once they get it…watching runner location.
